Hi, I’m Anna Kat Napier! I founded Voyage To Vintage in January of 2020. After working as an interior designer for 20 years, I wanted to focus on all the wonderful vintage clothing and decor I have loved since childhood. As a teenager, I poured over my mother’s scrapbook from the early 1960s and tried to imagine what it must have been like to grow up in a world untouched by the assassinations of JFK and MLK, the tragic loss of life during Viet Nam, and a free love movement that changed the life of young people across the country. To me, it seemed like another world, completely unlike my own experience. The cars were better designed, homes were affordable, and most people were trustworthy. If that time could be recreated to include racial and cultural equality, then it sounds like just the place for me. I love so many time periods across our history for many different things but the 1940s-1960s are probably my favorite for the fashion, decor, and architecture.

It’s important to me to be able to salvage so many wonderful items from those bygone days that are tragically filling up our landfills. I want a new generation to know and appreciate the things that were made with such creativity and craftsmanship. The products that were meant to last. Sadly, those skills are a dying art but we can hopefully keep it alive a little longer!

I am a big fan of recycle/reuse/repurpose, I love mixing various styles together, and I’m so passionate about sharing my love for the vintage world with you! So, welcome!
